How long and how often my character
must be online to appear in RookStat?
Just play with he (she)
for at least 15 minutes. He (She) will be detected by our robot and added
to database. Once added to database you don't need to play anymore! Your
character will always be updated in our database after that.

My character upleveled but it is not
shown in RookStat.
RookStat makes partial
updates every 15 minutes. Partial means that online characters are
updated only. If you uplevel and logout between robot scans your up will not be
detected. But don´t you worry! Full updates are made at Mon, Wed
and Fri, and your character doesn’t need to be online for that! Well, can’t you
wait for so long? (2 days!) Just logon and play for at least 15 minutes.

What happens when I go to mainland? If
you go to mainland this means that you are not interested in Rookgaard
anymore, thus you are automatically deleted from RookStat ranks. Rookstat has a
different point of view about deleted characters (see Rookstat's retirement policy).
|
|
What happens when my character is deleted (retired)?
RookStat's retirement policy: When you reach high level in Rookgaard, amongst top 100, RookStat assumes you become a legend. Because of that your character remains in the rank even if he/she has been deleted (retired). You stay there, with a 'retired' mark, while you are a top 100. However, if many players overcome your level, and you fall under the top 100, your character is automatically deleted from ranks. In other words, you are not a legend anymore... |

What are those green and red triangles in rank tables?
They show upgrades and downgrades in the current week. Green up triangle ( ) means uplevel and red down triangles ( ) means downlevel. The number of up/downgraded levels are next the marks.

My
character is ranked but there is no evolution rate listed. Why?
You
need at least 2 uplevels after 04 Jan 2006 (when measurements started) to
have your evolution rate calculated. You need also at least 24h between the
first uplevel and the last (read next question for more details). If you die you are also out of
evolution rates and 2 or more new uplevels are required with a total spent
time greater than 24h.
|
|
How
evolution rates are calculated and how much precise are them?
Rookstat
scans Tibia worlds every 15 min, when an uplevel is detected for a character
the time is stored in a file. When a second uplevel is detected RookStat
calculates the experience points required for that evolution and the total
time spent since the first uplevel occurred. With these two numbers the
evolution rate is simply xp/time. Therefore the evolution rate is an avarege
evolution rate within the spent time to uplevel.
The
evolution rate is calculated only if the spent time to uplevel is higher
than 24h. If such time is lower than 24h RookStat keeps the first entry
and wait for the next uplevel until a total time greater than 24h is reached.
Therefore high levels are not so much affected by the long time spent to
uplevel in comparison with low level characters.
Since
the error in time can be as great as 30 min (scans occur every 15 min) the
error in evolution rates are, 2% for 1 day, less than 0,3% for 1
week and less than 0,07% for 1 month. Other error sources are, logout
without uplevel detection and website offlines. Both drop down the calculated
evolution rates, but they are not frequent and not for all
characters.

Why
not all members of my guild are counted in guilds ranking?
The
ranking is intended to measure the guild forces present in the island. Thus
only rookstayers ranked in RookStat are counted. Rookgaard guilds have all
members in the island and so they are more powerful than guilds from
mainland with few members in Rookgaard.

Why
is my account "unclear"?
When
a new character is added to the data base its account can not be determined and so it remains "unclear" until the next full update.
Your account information can stay "unclear" for 2 days.
|
What
are those "smilles"
next some names?
They
mark insomniacs based on Pskonejott
website. Every online entry of 21 hours or more is recorded forever in
the "insomniacs list" of Pskonejott (click in the
to see the insomnia entries of players) . When you perform a character
search in Pskonejott site it shows every insomniacs entry that has been
recorded for a player.
